This project wasn’t just about showcasing furniture—it was about creating an experience where the past and the present coexist in perfect harmony.

The Rise of “Yugonostalgia”

The term Yugonostalgia has been gaining momentum in recent years and for good reason. It represents a longing for a time when craftsmanship, architecture and design were at their peak in the region. Even global icons like @champagnepapi (Drake) have referenced Yugoslavia, proving that its cultural significance continues to inspire across generations. But what does this mean for furniture design today? For us, it means preserving that essence while reimagining it for modern lifestyles.

A Photoshoot with a Story

Instead of a conventional showroom shoot, we took a bold step—bringing our new collection into a historical setting that embodies the spirit of Yugoslav modernism. Our team ventured into an old sports gym in Skopje, built in the 1950s, where every element, from the wooden floors to the metal fixtures, remains untouched by time. It was the perfect stage to showcase the fusion of past and present.

We invited a group of young creatives to explore and interact with our furniture in this unique environment. Their energy, style and curiosity brought a whole new dimension to the collection, blending contemporary aesthetics with the timeless durability of Yugoslav-era craftsmanship. The result? A stunning juxtaposition of eras captured through the lens of photography.
